Homestead.com

Though of course I’d prefer you use WTCI Web Design to get your practice on the web, you should also know about this:  Homestead.com.  The site offers insta-web pages through hard-to-mess-up interface.  Lots of templates, lots of prepared text.  Here’s a version of fictional Virginia Minuchin, LCSW [CLOSED AFTER FREE TRIAL] through Homestead (I only changed the name).  Not bad, right?  And here’s the one I did through wordpress.com.  Also respectable.  One big difference: Homestead costs, WordPress.com doesn’t.   Homestead is $4.99/month + a couple of extra dollars if you want your own dot-com (e.g., www.virginiaminuchin.com); Aside from set-up time, WordPress only costs if you want your own URL (rates vary depending upon host).  Either way, it’s hundreds and hundreds of dollars less than what’s charged by the advertising-heavy companies offering web services on the back cover of your favorite therapy glossies.  You win.
